On September 21st, 2022 the LEC Cross-border meeting to share 4 local conversion plans was held in Bari, organized by Confindustria Bari and BAT.

The representative of Confindustria Bari and BAT welcomed LEC project partners from Tuzi, Mirabello and Tirana.

Each project partner presented their conversion plan in order to collect suggestions from the other partners and sharing experiences and expertise.  Any inputs resulting from this cross-border meeting will be used to develop a final version of the pilot project, an executive project that will be submitted to LECs and to the citizens through the organization of a meeting for each target area.

The Final Consortium and the Third Steering Committee Meeting of the LEC project were held with the participation of all project partners.

During these meetings, the partners discussed the state of the art of the project’s implementation (outputs, deliverables and level of expenditures) and decided the next steps to be made, focusing on Pilot projects.

The next day, on September 22nd, the Covenant subscription / Cross border agreement was organized.

Municipality of Mirabello, that is responsible partner of working package T2 “Cross border sustainable energy action plan based on LEC model”, presented the common action plan that was elaborated, then it was sent to the partners for the official approval.  After all project partners gave contribution and official approval for the Common action plan, Municipality of Mirabello produced it.

Mr. Miniello, who is Mayor of Municipality of Mirabello, presented the Sustainable energy action plan based on LEC model and asked other project partners to have this Cross-border agreement signed by authorized representatives of all PPs.
